THE FIGHT IS ON!

Have you heard about William Booth?

William Booth was the founder of THE SALVATION ARMY. He was a FIGHTER. Listen to what he says:

“While women weep as they do now, I’ll fight; while little children go hungry as they do now, I’ll fight; while men go to prison, in and out, as they do now, I’ll fight; while there is a drunkard left, while there is a poor lost girl upon the streets, while there remains one dark soul without God, I’ll fight – I’ll fight to the very end!” – William Booth (Salvation army Founder)

Have you heard about CT Studd?

CT Studd was the founder of WEC INTERNATIONAL. (www.wecnz.org) He was also  a fighter. Listen to what he says:

“I wouldn’t like to live at all,

Unless it was to fight

For Jesus Christ and sinful men,

Morning, noon and night.” – CT Studd

The Lord Jesus Christ is looking for more people who are willing to fight!

“GET ORGANISED”

“DEATH NOTICES INDEX” I am reading in the old paper. (The New Zealand Herald, Friday, January 27, 2012, page B12).

********

In order to get organised we are writing our appointments into our appointment calendars. For many years already I am making my own appointment  calendar. One important appointment for tomorrow in my calendar is: Take car into garage for Warrant of Fitness and Service!

(“organize”  “to put (oneself) in an alert and responsible frame of mind.” – The Collins Concise Dictionary)

But let us always remember, that our last appointment is written for us by our creator. In the “Death Notices Index” at the beginning 29 people are neatly listed  in alphabetical order. The surnames are written in bold letters.

“And just as it is appointed for [all] men once to die and after that the [certain] judgment,…” – Hebrews 9:27

We don’t know when our creator is writing our last appointment. It could be any time. It could be even today! The Bible says in Amos 4:12 “‘Therefore this is what I will do to you, Israel, and because  I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, O Israel.'”

I am prepared! Are you ready to meet God? Remember the judgment!

The Bible:

1. Obey all the Bible.

2. Meditate on the Bible

3. Memorize the Bible.

I know how important it is to memorize BIBLE Verses. Not long ago I memorized Exodus 23:20:

“‘See,

I am sending an angel ahead of you

to guard you along the way and

to bring you to the place I have prepared.'”

It took me some time, but now I know it. I hope to memorize more verses.

Let me know if you want to join me!
