“WHICH ONE IS THE ANY KEY?”

“What are your goals for the next 28 days?”

That’s the question in the free 28-day KICKSTART 2011 diary towards a healthier and better you, I picked up yesterday at the local Amcal pharmacy.

I like to answer questions like that.

The KICKSTART 2011 Diary encourages us to get started and challenges us to concentrate on DIET, EXERCISE and LIFESTYLE or focus on them all.

We are also told to remember to make our goals SMART.

MEASURABLE

ATTAINABLE

RELEVANT

TIME-BOUND

My goals?

I focus on DIET, EXERCISE and LIFESTYLE,  but I am concentrating on my SPIRITUAL DIET!

My spiritual life needs food, spiritual food. I find spiritual food in the BIBLE, the Word of God. The Lord Jesus Christ is the BREAD OF LIFE and the WATER OF LIFE.

My goal is to read through the Bible, all 66 books, at least once a year.

As you have noticed already, my goal is SPECIFIC.  Reading all 66 books of the BIBLE in 365 days.

My goal is also MEASURABLE. There are chapters in the Bible.

My goal is ATTAINABLE.  I have read through the Bible before in one year.

My goal is RELEVANT for my spiritual life. I don’t want to starve and lose my spiritual vitality. I need spiritual nourishment daily.

My goal is TIME-BOUND. The short-term timeline is to read every day a certain amount of chapters and the long-term timeline is reading all 66 books in 365 days.

What are your goals?

PRAYER OF A CHINESE CHRISTIAN

I read the following  prayer for the first time in the German language and I have translated it into the English language.

First of all it is a good guideline for people to follow who are coming together for prayer and secondly it expresses exactly what is on my heart just now.

—– “LORD, WAKE UP YOUR CHURCH, AND START WITH ME!

—– LORD, BUILD YOUR CHURCH, AND START WITH ME!

—– LORD, LET PEACE COME OVER ALL THE EARTH, AND START WITH ME!

—– LORD, BRING YOUR LOVE AND TRUTH TO ALL PEOPLE, AND START WITH ME!”
