“….the importance of nurturing relationships……”

“….the importance of nurturing relationships…”

“At 15 I thought being different would blight my life forever. It would take another two decades for me to discover it was my greatest  strength. I wish somebody had made me really understand when I was younger about the importance of nurturing relationships – in the end, the care and love you put into others will always be returned many, many times over.” – Carol Hirschfeld, head of programming at Maori Television

“FREE SPIRIT”

“FREE SPIRIT” was written on the camper van. I was told that it is the name of the model!

Just now I typed the words “Freedom” and “free” into Search on this blog. Please do the same and find out how many entries there are! I did not count them! There are many.

LIBERTY (FREEDOM)

In the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John)we are reading a lot about the liberty of Christians.  Read Luke 4:16-19.  Luke 4:18 “He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners…” The apostle Paul has also very much to say about freedom in his letters.

We are having enemies, but God liberates His people from them  through the Lord Jesus Christ.

What are the enemies? There is SIN (Romans 6:18-23). There is SATAN (Colossians 1:13). There is the LAW (Galatians 4:21-31).  There is DEATH (Romans 8:18-21).

Here is a gift for us. Freedom is the gift of Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ died. By doing so he set us free (First Corinthians 6:20; First Corinthians 7:22-24).

“CHILDREN ARE OUR GREATEST TREASURE”

And The Northern Advocate had this on the front page today:

“Kids more likely than dogs to be left in cars

CHILDREN’S SAFETY AT RISK”

Mark 10:14

“When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.'”
