“heavenbound……”
That’s how the E-mail begins, I came across just now.
Going towards heaven. Bound for heaven. Homeward bound.
I am going towards heaven! I am bound for heaven. Heaven is my HOME!
Bound means actually “to move forwards by leaps and jumps.” THINK ABOUT THAT!
Philippians 3:14
“I PRESS ON TOWARD THE GOAL TO WIN THE PRIZE FOR WHICH GOD HAS CALLED ME HEAVENWARD IN CHRIST JESUS.”
Dietrich Bonhoeffer (DEUTSCH)
“VON GUTEN MAECHTEN WUNDERBAR GEBORGEN,
ERWARTEN WIR GETROST, WAS KOMMEN MAG.
GOTT IST MIT UNS AM ABEND UND AM MORGEN,
UND GANZ GEWISS AN JEDEM NEUEN TAG.”
Dietrich Bonhoeffer
“… A VOYAGE OF SELF- DISCOVERY.”
WELCOME TO SPIRIT WEEK (8-14 NOVEMBER)
“Spirit Week is all about raising public awareness and to attract funding for our youth development programmes on board Spirit of New Zealand.”
“…almost 75,000 young people have undertaken a voyage of self-discovery. They not only learn to navigate and sail a tall ship, but develop skills, attitudes and behaviours to help navigate their lives.”

WHO CAN TELL ME WHAT “VOYAGE OF SELF-DISCOVERY ” IS ALL ABOUT?
_____________________________________________________________________________________________
THAT’S ME!
It was during a conversation when it hit me all of a sudden: That’s Me!
I have nothing and yet I have everything.
With the help of a concordance I found eventually this verse in the Bible:
Second Corinthians 6:10
“…..; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.”
Another SERMON OUTLINE – NT – (NIV)
“For I resolved to
know nothing
while I was with you
except Jesus Christ and him
crucified.”

The Right Place for the Scales
“Take those scales out of the bathroom; the right place for them is in front of the refrigerator.” – Richard Needham, British politician
“Auckland’s Greatest Food Festival”
“Auckland’s Greatest Food Festival
18-21 Nov-Victoria Park”
“Enjoy Auckland’s greatest garden party hosted by our leading restaurants.”
“Try food from 14 of Auckland’s best restaurants at bite-size prices.”
Two advertisements advertising “Auckland’s Greatest Food Festival” are in the same paper.
FOOD FOR THE BODY
“Take those scales out of the bathroom; the right place for them is in front of the refrigerator.” – R. Needham, British politician
Our bodies need nourishment. But look around for yourself. We are feeding our bodies well!
FOOD FOR THE SOUL
Our souls need nourishment. But read the paper. Are we are feeding our souls well?
Is not the daily reading of the BIBLE the nourishment of the soul for the child of God?

What does the Lord Jesus Christ say?
“MAKE THIS CHRISTMAS MEMORABLE”
“Make this Christmas memorable.”
That’s how the advertisement begins and it carries on like this: “4 Days Christmas special to the Bay of Islands. 24-27 December. Christmas Breakfast & Dinner $797.00 per person (twin share).”
NEW ZEALAND is the most beautiful country, but please come and visit the BAY OF ISLANDS. The BAY OF ISLANDS is beautiful, believe me. We used to live there for a very long time! KAIKOHE was our Mission Station (United Maori Mission) from 1981 until 2004)
Make Christmas 2010 worthy to be remembered. Make it a Christmas easily remembered. Make Christmas 2010 a Christmas you will never forget.

I remember a Christmas Day in my life, a Christmas Day I will never forget.
Why will I forever remember that Christmas Day? Why will I never, never forget that Christmas Day? During that year I grasped the real meaning of CHRISTMAS! What did I do? I received the Lord Jesus Christ. I believed in his name. I became a child of God. (Acts 16:31; John 1:12,13) What a Christmas!
That was Christmas 1958, 52 years ago!
Please remember the message:
Make Christmas 2010 worthy to be remembrered. Make Christmas 2010 a Christmas you will never forget.
Receive the Lord Jesus Christ. Believe in his name. Grasp the real meaning of Christmas!
John 5:24
We are condemned, but we can cross over from death to life by hearing and believing!
