“Enquire now for a brighter Future!”

I read that on the frontpage of the “BusinessAdvocate April 2010″. Freephone North Tec and enrol now in Business Studies. It says: “Our courses provide clear pathways….”

That is true. I know that. I am enrolled in a course, namely Certificate in Computing Level 3.

“Enquire now for a brighter future!”

My message is:

ENQUIRE NOW FOR THE BRIGHTEST FUTURE!”

On another page of the same paper it says that “The FUTURE is now with Northpower”. On page 19 I am told that that The New Zealand Refining Company LTD is “Fuelling NZ’S FUTURE”.

It’s all about the FUTURE!

But where do we find the brightest FUTURE?

Today it says on the notice board of a church here in Kaitaia that Life without God is pointless.

Please listen to this promise from the Bible, the Word of the Living God. In Jeremiah 29:11 we read:

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’

Intr.:

declares the Lord,

A.  ‘plans to prosper you (and not to harm you,)

B.  plans to give you hope and a

C. FUTURE.'”

End:

Prosperity, hope, Future,

three most important words.

But the spiritual drought is still on. The Bible, the Word of the Living God has a lot to say about the spiritual drought:

Psalm 63:1

Psalm 68:6

Isaiah 1:30; Isaiah 5:13, Isaiah 41:17

Jeremiah 17:6

Amos 8:13

One of my teachers at Bible College was a person who inspired me and he saw a mission opportunity everywhere!

One of the subjects taught at that College was PE, Personal Evangelism. He came to visit us while we were working with the United Maori Mission in  Kaikohe and he loved to talk to everybody, everywhere at any time about the LORD!

Maybe that’s the best way of putting it.
