BLESSED BY MANY PEOPLE!
I think it was Wilhelm Busch (minister) who wrote the book PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN A BLESSING TO ME.
He had also pictures of those people, neatly framed, and they were hanging on the walls of his study.
Yesterday in the evening I have been thinking of people who have been a blessing to me when I became a Christian, when I came out of darkness into light, from death into life.
THERE ARE MANY!
I heard them over the radio, I went to their meetings all over Germany and Switzerland and I read their writings (books).
One outstanding man of God was WILHELM BUSCH. I went to his meetings in Essen in Germany and I have a good number of his books.
I used to live twelve km away from Essen at one time in Bottrop and attended his services on Sunday morning (Weigle Haus.) In the afternoon he had a programme there for young men and 500 -700 attended.
I don’t have any pictures of those people who have been a blessing to me, but I will see if I can get some.

I have always a good reason to talk to strangers. In fact I have always a good reason to talk to every person I meet. And I know also that I should do it more often.
What is the good reason?
The good reason is the GOOD NEWS!
In Mark 16:16 we are reading about THE GREAT COMMISSION, where the Lord Jesus Christ says:
“GO INTO ALL THE WORLD AND PREACH THE GOOD NEWS TO ALL CREATION.”
The GOOD NEWS is the Gospel. “For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.'” (Habakkuk 2:4)
I am from Germany and live in Kaitaia in the north of New Zealand.
A great tourist attraction for visitors to New Zealand is Capa Reinga here in the north of this beautiful country.
Many Germans are coming to Kaitaia and I have talked to a good number of them and told them the GOOD NEWS. And of course they are strangers.
Am I intimidated?
We are reading in Second Timothy 2:7 “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.”

On a crushed empty DILMAH tea box I picked up from our kitchen floor I am reading:
“Dilmah is a very special tea. Its founder has dedicated his life to tea, and he has mastered the art of tea making. He guides his family business with care, pride and passion. YOU CAN’T BUY THAT!!”
What particular purpose or cause are you devoted (dedicated) to?
I devoted myself to serving the Lord Jesus Christ:

I worked as a missionary in Thailand from Christmas 1966 to Christmas 1979 in the provinces Tak and Kamphengphet.

We began our work in Kaitaia at the end of 1980 and after a short time in Kaitaia we moved to Kaikohe, where we stayed until I retired at the end of 2004.
