ARE YOU COVERED? – PART TWO

THE CHORUS:

I am covered over with the robe of righteousness that Jesus gves to me (gives to me).

I am covered over with the precious blood of Jesus and he lives in me (lives in me).

What a joy it is to know, my Heavenly Father loves me so and gives to me my Jesus.

When he looks at me, He sees not what I used to be but He sees Jesus.

GOTT – JA! KIRCHE – NEIN!

PERSONAL EVANGELISM (PE) 11. 11. 2008 – I will show you!

Today I saw one of our neighbours in town. He was quite a distance away, but his body language indicated, that he wanted to get into contact with me.

In the course of our conversation he wanted to know, what I am up to these days. “I will show you,” was my answer. And I continued, “What exactly is your street number? I will put something into your letter box. I am actually glad, when people are asking me that question.”

I said also to him, “My next door neighbour asked me that question once. Also the owner of one of the food shops in town asked me that once. My answer to that question is always ‘I WILL SHOW YOU’.”

Our conversation on the street came to an end like this,”I want  to tell you also something else. The other day I bought a $20 top up for my mobile phone, I paid also $20, but later on I found out, that I was given a $30 top up by mistake. There was only one thing to do to go back and correct the error. I am also going back there with some of the literature I have written and tell them that the literature explains actually why I did not keep quiet about the mistake.”

BUT IF YOU FEEL YOU HAVE FAILED, DON’T GIVE UP!

I remember the above from the time we studied one year at the Bible College of NZ in 1980. The principal of the college at that time was David Stewart and he said that to encourage the graduates.

A REMINDER

A REMINDER

My father-in-law wrote the words on wood and I was able to hang them on the wall in my room.

Only the other day I tried to do something. It did not work at all – so I gave up!

But not quite!

I tried again – and it worked!
