Attitude is a little thing that makes a BIG difference.

A business here in town is selling ride on lawn mowers and all the big machines are displayed in front of the shop. Once I walked passed the shop at closing time while one of the workers was in the process of driving the equipment back into the safe shop and I said to him,” Quite a bother to do that every morning and every evening.” Smiling he anwered, ” It is good exercise.” I replied,” That is a good way of looking at it, otherwise it could be a miserable job.”

I actually had the same response at another shop.

OUR ATTITUDES ARE ALSO VERY IMPORTANT IN OUR LIVES AS CHRISTIANS!

I visited once the home of an old Salvation Army couple and on the wall of the living room was hanging the following:

LIFE IS LIKE A JIGSAW PUZZLE WITH SOME PIECES MISSING!

We will be always missing something in life till we find the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour.

While studying at Bible College we had a guest speaker from the USA talking to us and he said one of the best ways to read (study) the Word of God is to read from the beginning to the end three chapters a day and those three chapters for three days.

Is he the only one who does that?

‘For he endured as seeing him who is invisible’ says the Bible about Moses. END OF STORY? – Sometimes I really don’t know!

May it always be said about us as born again believers as it is said about Moses: Hebrews 11:27 “for he endured as seeing him who is invisible”. (RSV) The NIV says “he persevered because he saw him who is invisible”. Thinking about the word endured I am thinking about standing still. Perseverance seems to be talking about being on the move. Tell me if I am wrong. But the Collins dictionary seems to support that somehow. But I like the Luther translation best. It almost says in the German Luther Bible that Moses was hanging on to the Lord. Althougn he did not see him he was hanging on. That is FAITH! It is good to have something to hang on to. Or is the Lord not having us in his hands? But we are prone to forget, are we not?
