“ON EAGLES’ WINGS”
The campervan with “ON EAGLES’ WINGS” written on it was parked today (Sunday) on the Church parking lot of the Baptist Church and I spoke to the couple.
Have written on this blog before about seeing the van on the street!
GO TO ‘SEARCH’ AND WRITE ‘EAGLES WINGS’.

Counselling!
You probably know counsellors, (also Christian Counsellors) and people who go for counselling. I understand that you can spend quite a bit of money for one session. I looked up the yellow pages in the phone book. Lots of counselling services are listed there. Must be a lucrative business.
What does the Bible say about counselling? Look up Psalm 16:7
READ THE WHOLE PSALM!
I like that verse so much, that I am going to write it down here:
PSALM 16:7
” I WILL PRAISE THE LORD, WHO COUNSELS ME; EVEN AT NIGHT MY HEART INSTRUCTS ME.”
Citizens Commemoration- Anzac Day Service- Kaitaia Community Centre
11.00 am Friday, 25 April 2008.
Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ. 100 copies of the Anzac Day flier “LEST WE FORGET” were gladly accepted by those who attended. The Lord has answered prayer! I contacted pastor Graeme Baucke concerning the distribution of the leaflets. He kindly told me that Far North District Councillor Colin Kitchen is in charge of the service. I went to see Colin at the firestation. He read the leaflet. He gave his OK and I can only praise the Lord for His leading and guiding. Praise the Lord!

“Do you have a Dollar?” (Personal Evangelism) Anzac Day
“Do you have a Dollar?” I was asked by one of the four or five young men who were sitting outside McDonald’s. “No, I have only two Dollars and fifty cents left to buy a bottle of water at the Warehouse.”
But I stopped to tell them what the Lord Jesus Christ had done for me, starting with Anzac Day “Lest we forget.” I told them, that God is holy and that we are sinners and that the Lord loved us so much that he died for us on the cross; that there is Heaven and Hell and that one day the Lord will be either their judge or their Saviour. They listened!
I was reminded of the story in the book of Acts 3:1-10 where the crippled beggar asked for money and Peter and John did not have money to give to him, but the Lord used Peter and John to heal him.
This young man, who asked for money, and the others did not have any physical handicaps. But they are spiritually blind, which is far worse than physical blindness. Second Corinthians 4:4.
Please pray for them!

“ON EAGLES’ WINGS”
A big campervan was coming towards me. I always like to see what is written on them. On the front it looked like “On Angels’ Wings”. But when it passed by I looked at the writing on the back and it was actually “On Eagles’ Wings”.
A song came to my mind and a verse from the Bible. Unfortunately the hymn is in the German language (you find the first verse of the hymn at the end).
And here are two verses from the Word of God: Exodus 19:4 (click on the verse and read it). When it comes to the second verse you could almost use it as a sermon outline. Here it is: Isaiah 40:31
;BUT THOSE WHO HOPE IN THE LORD (wait for the Lord)
1. will renew their strength.
2. They will soar on wings like eagles;
3. they will run and not grow weary,
4. they will walk and not be faint.
PS: The German hymn from 1920:
“Auf Adlers Fluegeln getragen uebers brausende Meer der Zeit, getragen auf Adlers Fluegeln bis hinein in die Ewigkeit.– Ueber Berge und Taeler und Gruende immer hoeher zur himmlischen Hoeh, die Fluegel sind stark, die mich tragen, die Fluegel, auf denen ich steh!”
