What a surprise to see hairdressing in action on the market place in Kaitaia last Saturday. I think I saw hairdressing in the open air in Bombay in India.

No two persons see people and things alike.
What we see and how we see depend upon the nature of our light. – Laura Ingalls Wilder
The Holy Scriptures tell us what we could never learn any other way:
they tell us
what we are,
who we are,
how we got here,
why we are here
and what we are required to do while we remain here! – A. W. Tozer
It was during my time of preparation to become a missionary at the WEC HQ in Vockenhausen near Frankfurt/Germany in 1965/66.
A missionary from Japan visited us and spoke on Romans 9:3. His surname was Mason. It is amazing what you remember.
—– Paul offered his salvation to save his own people Israel.
Not long ago I read a sermon on Exodus 32:32. Moses is praying.
—– Moses is also offering his salvation to save his people Israel.
I have experienced it.

What I am writing down now came to me for the first time on a journey from Kaikohe to Kaitaia through the Mangamuka gorge, when we took a lady to the Salvation Army in Kaitaia, who was addicted to alcohol.
It was the most brilliant day!
Days with sunshine are beautiful. Days without sunshine are miserable. A really brilliant day is difficult to describe. I will not even attempt to do so. I thought I took a picture of a really ‘Beautiful Day’ not too long ago. Look at the picture:
Can you see the brilliant Day? I don’t think so. I cannot either. I say it again; A brilliant Day is difficult to describe. A brilliant Day can only be experienced. You have to be there yourself.
But a day without sunshine reminds me of a life without the Lord Jesus Christ. A day with sunshine reminds me of a life with the Lord Jesus Christ!
Let us read together some verses from the Bible, the Word of the Living God. Psalm 84:11 “For the Lord God is a sun..”; Matthew 17:2; Revelation 1:16; Malachi 4:2.
In Malachi 4:2 the Lord Jesus Christ is called: “.., the sun of righteousness…”
Through the Lord Jesus Christ the believers are justified, sanctified, they are holy, joyful and fruitful.
