Psalm 62:8
“Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.”
Psalm 62:8
“Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.”
I am hoping soon to register for the above mentioned course.
“I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good thing, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow human being let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” – William Penn

“Giving back to our Community”
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY OF DOING THAT?
You can hear this on Anzac Day:
“They shall grow not old,
As we who are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them,
Nor the years condemn,
At the going down of the sun,
And in the morning,
We will remember them.”
I have been thinking about “Nor the years condemn” and Romans 8:1 came to my mind.
What a bright and brilliant idea! “Lets do it Ltd.” was written on the work van I saw in Mangonui. Underneath was written: “The time is now.”
Business people know how tardy we can be when it comes to do something, even absolutely necessary things. “The time is now!”
Are there repairs to be done at your place? I am sure there are. Write them down on a list and then do them one by one. The time to do the repairs is now. Remember: “Now is the time!” Don’t procrestinate.
Now, if you neglect to do repairs on the roof of your house it does not matter too much. You probably don’t even mind if you hear water dripping on your ceiling on a rainy day. I hate that!
But what really matters is when you neglect the Word of the Living God! There are eternal consequences.
Psalm 32:6 “Therefore let everyone who is godly pray to you while you may be found;…”
The Bible speaks also of a time of favour: Psalm 69:13; Isaiah 49:8.
And what does it say in Psalm 95:7,8? “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts…” (Hebrews 3:7; Hebrews 3:13; Hebrews 4:7
Best of all I like what the apostle Paul says in Second Corinthians 6:2:
“For he says,
‘In the time of my favour I heard you,
and in the day of salvatian I helped you.’
I tell you,
NOW IS THE TIME OF GOD’S FAVOUR,
NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.”
Remember:
“THE TIME IS NOW!”
