I like to answer Questions, Certain Questions!

When I flicked through the pages of the Christmas Paperplus flyer – on the front page two ladies are in the process of decorating a Christmas tree – called My books , My stationery, I stopped reading on the page where they are asking me a question. The question is:

“LOOKING FOR THE PERFECT GIFT?”

My answer is,” No, I am not looking for the perfect Christmas gift. I have found it.”

Are you surprised? Don’t be surprised.

The catalogue or flyer is called My books, My stationery. Next time I must find out if Paperplus – My books. My stationery. My store. – is selling “MY BOOK” . My book is the Bible, the Word of the Living God.

My book, the Bible, is telling me about the perfect gift in James 1:17. Listen to this: “EVERY GOOD AND PERFECT GIFT IS FROM ABOVE, COMING DOWN FROM THE FATHER OF THE HEAVENLY LIGHTS, WHO DOES NOT CHANGE LIKE SHIFTING SHADOWS.”

And here is one more verse from “MY BOOK”, the Bible. These are the words of the Lord Jesus Christ in John 8:23: ” ‘You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.”

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THE PERFECT GIFT FROM ABOVE!

Praise the LORD!

PS:

Gift cards are the perfect gift of Paperplus. Some business people are calling powertools the perfect gifts. I read also that 2010 calendars are the ultimate gift.

A Conference

“Four people in a conference can kill any idea – no matter how good it is.”

Gene Moore

That is absolutely true. So, next time, when you have a good idea, don’t tell anyone about it. Just go ahead and do it

Are you Listening?

“When people talk, listen completely. Most people never listen.”

Ernest Hemingway

That is completely true!

Are you going to church? Did you listen completely to the sermon last Sunday? I am actually asking myself that question right now. How much do I remember from the sermon?

What does the Lord Jesus Christ say in  Matthew 7:24?

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”

How can we put things into practice, if we don’t listen completely?
