“REMEMBER YOUR CREATOR

Ecclesiastes  12:1-8

Intr.:

in the days of your youth,

1. before the days of trouble come and

2. the years approach when you will say, ‘I find no pleasure in them’ –

3. before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars grow dark and

4. the clouds return after the rain;

5. when the keepers of the house tremble, and

6. the strong men stoop,

7. when the grinders cease because they are few, and

8. those looking throug the windows grow dim;

9. when the doors to the street are closed and

10. the sound of grinding fades;

11. when men rise up at the sound of birds,

12. but all their songs grow faint;

13. when men are afraid of heights and

14. of dangers in  the streets;

15. when the almond tree blossoms

16. and the grasshopper drags himself along and

17. desire is no longer stirred.

18. Then man goes to his eternal home and

19. mourners go about the street.
