An Old Welsh Grace
“LET NOT OUR HEARTS BE BUSY INNS
THATÂ HAVE NO ROOMÂ FOR THEE,
BUT CRADLES FOR THE LIVING CHRIST
AND HIS NATIVITY.”
“Without the birth……”
“Without the birth of the child in the manger we would live a faith submerged in sin and devoid of hope.”
Maori Saying:
He aha te mea nui o te ao?
He tangata! He tangata! He tangata!
Translated:
What is the most important thing in the world?
It is people! It is people! It is people!
John 3:16
A Golden Nugget in the Local Paper? Yes!
Today I found a Golden Nugget in the local paper, “The Northland Age”, under the heading:
GOD’S WORD: OPEN FOR ALL
Psalm 118:28
“You are my God,
and I will give you thanks;
You are my God,
and I will exalt you.”
Believe and Doubt
“Previously not all the promises in the Bible could induce me to believe; now not all the devils in hell could persuade me to doubt.”
Catherine Booth
Friendship
“My journey in the Christian life has also taught me a major Lesson about friendship; to have dependable and reliable friends you must first of all be a good friend to others.”

What Kind of Christian are You?
Are you a think-so Christian?
Are you a hope-so Christian?
Are you a know-so Christian?
Please let me know.
What does the Bible teach?
First John 5:13
“I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.”
We can know, know, know!
If we don’t know that we are saved our Christian life is very fickle. We cannot have a stable Christian life without knowing!
You have heard about William Booth. This is what he says:
“There are think-so Christians, and there are hope-so Christians, and there are know-so Christians; thank God we belong to the know-so people – we know we are saved.”
William Booth
