I WANT TO DO WHAT THE BEREANS DID.
Acts 17:11
“NOW THE BEREANS WERE OF MORE NOBLE CHARACTER THAN THE THESSALONIANS, FOR THEY RECEIVED THE MESSAGE WITH GREAT EAGERNESS AND EXAMINED THE SCRIPTURES EVERY DAY TO SEE IF WHAT PAUL SAID WAS TRUE.”
I read that there is tombstone with the following writing on it:
“As you are now, so once was I.
As I am now, you are sure to be.
So may I say , as now I lie,
Prepare yourself, to follow me.”
Underneath was written with chalk:
“To follow you I ‘m not content,
Until I know which way you went.”
