When I worked in Thailand as a missionary we had a very wise Field Leader. I remember him saying something like this:

“If we put enough pressure on each other we will all go home eventually.”

“You can tell how big a person is by what it takes to discourage him.”

“WE’RE TOO BLESSED TO BE DEPRESSED.”
