TRUST

People want us to trust them.

I remember reading that lately and I am reading it just now again: “Trust us to build a home this good.” That is a big advertisement on one of the pages of one of our local papers. Underneath the writing is the picture of the most beautiful big home.

It is a Platinum Homes Northland ad and it says also that Platinum Homes are “a different class of home” and that “there is quality throughout.”

I trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and what He says in  John 14:1-4:

I think we must study the Bible systematically!

Here are the first two verses of  Second Timothy chapter 4:

Second Timothy 4:1,2 (NIV)

“In the presence

-of  God and

-of  Christ Jesus,

I give you this charge:

PREACH THE WORD;

-Be prepared

What a surprise it was and joy…..

What a surprise it was and joy today to see the newspaper in one of the restaurants and read “Everyone falls short of God’s perfect standard”.

My own copy of  “The Northern Advocate” is now here before me with the above article written by Greg Bedwell, the pastor of the Kamo Baptist Church.

What a way to spread the GOOD NEWS!

Who knows how many copies of  “The Northern Advocate” are being sold ?
