Who is your friend?

“In a MAJOR DISASTER we may have to cope on our own for three days or more.”

DISASTER has been on my mind for quite some  time.

This morning in my quiet time I came to Jeremiah 19:1-15 in my reading of the BIBLE, the Word of the Living God. I am reading from cover to cover. In the last verse of the chapter the LORD gives two reasons for pronouncing disaster:

1.  The people were stiff-necked.

2. The people would not listen to the word of the LORD.

Amos 3:6 came also again to my mind this morning.

Amos 3:6 says:

“WHEN DISASTER COMES TO A CITY,

HAS NOT THE LORD CAUSED IT?”

When it comes to believe that GOD IS IN EVERYTHING, the book by Catherine Marshall called SOMETHING MORE is very helpful. The first chapter is called: “YES, GOD IS IN EVERYTHING.”
