Personal Evangelism

In his book “Morning and Evening (Daily Readings)” C. H. Spurgeon is writing (January12, Evening):

“Mute children are an affliction to their parents. Lord, unloosen all Your children’s tongues.”

“In the name of  Him who was not ashamed of you, seek to do some little violence to your feelings, and tell others what Christ has told you.”

Yesterday I told a young man from Germany what the Lord Jesus Christ has told me. He was from Hamburg.

The command of the Lord Jesus Christ is:

“….go and make disciples of all nations,…” (Matthew 28:19

And in Acts 1:8 we read “…; and you will be my witnesses….”

Our Triumphs, our Sorrows

“We tell our triumphs to the crowds, but our own hearts are the sole confidants of our sorrows.” – Edward G  Bulwer-Lytton 1803-1873

Proverbs 14:12

“Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can share its joy.”

HE RECOGNISED ME AGAIN!

Eventually we were all sitting at the table (Lynn Mall – Auckland) and consuming our lunch meal. I was alone, but he was with his family.  I did not recognise him, but he recognised me from KAIKOHE, where we lived for more than 20 years proclaiming the GOOD NEWS of our Lord and Saviour JESUS CHRIST.
