Sharing God’s Word

SO FAR I HAVE READ ONE STORY IN THE BOOK, BUT I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO READING THEM ALL

SO FAR I HAVE READ ONE STORY IN THE BOOK, BUT I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO READING THEM ALL

It was a blessing just now to read one of the 100 stories of Trusting God in the book called BEYOND THE EDGE (Evan Davies, General Editor), called “WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU KNEW YOU COULD BE ARRESTED FOR SHARING GOD’S WORD?”

When I read that question, another question came to my mind: What would you do if you knew you could not be arrested for sharing God’s Word? Would you share it?

I am writing this here in New Zealand.

I am looking forward to reading all the stories in the book called BEYOND THE EDGE.

“Water Cuts Loom”

When I read “Water cuts in the pipeline” in THE NORTHERN ADVOCATE (Wednesday, March 6, 2013)  today, I was reminded of LIVING WATER, that is uneffected by summer and winter. The Living Water is uneffected by Time and Season.WATER

“The water supply to homes and business in one of the worst affected areas in Northland could be cut off to reserve water if significant rain does not fall in the next fortnight,” I am reading also in the same paper.

In the Bible we are reading in Zechariah 14:8: “On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea and half to the western sea, in summer and in winter.” Read also John 4:10 and John 7:37.

SERMON OUTLINE – NT – NIV

P1110710-150x150This is the MESSAGE we have heard from him and declare to you:

First John 1:5-10

Intr.:

GOD IS LIGHT; IN HIM THERE IS NO DARKNESS AT ALL.

1.  If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in darkness,

a.  we lie and

b.  live not by the truth.

2.  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light,

a.  we have fellowship with one another, and

b.  the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

3.  If we claim to be without sin,

a.  we deceive ourselves and

b.  the truth is not in us.

4.  If we confess our sins,

a.  he is faithful and

b.  just and

c.  will forgive us our sins and

d.  purify us from all unrighteousness.

5.  If we claim we have not sinned,

a.  we make him out to be a liar and

b.  his word has no place in our lives.”

MANU-AUTE, MANU PAKAUKAU

Seeing a Maori Kite today at the TE AHU COMMUNITY CENTRE (Atrium) reminded me of flying a kite when I was going to school in the north of Germany.
