Manchmal sagen wir auch “Eile mit Weile.” Unsere englischen Freunde druecken sich so aus: “Eile bringt Verlust.” Und wenn wir nach Thailand gehen, dann sagen wir: “Bei tscha tscha di kwa dai reo.” Das heisst auf deutsch: Wir wollen lieber langsam [mit dem Auto] fahren, als schnell sterben. Das gilt besonders fuer den Strassenverkehr in Bangkok.

Und wir haben es schon selbst erfahren:

Wir hatten zu viel zu tun und konnten nicht mehr so klar denken und haben unsere kostbaren Sachen verloren.

Ich weiss von jemand, der so eins seiner kostbaren Dokumente verloren hat, und es kann nicht mehr ersetzt werden.

Deshalb wollen wir uns immer wieder zurufen: EILE MIT WEILE.

Auch weiss ich von jemend der zu viel auf einmal machen wollte und dabei fast durch einen Verkehrsunfall ums Leben kam.

Deshalb legen die Gotteskinder ihre STILLE ZEIT vor dem Herrn ein. Sie lesen die Bibel und beten. Sie nehmen sich also Zeit und nicht das Leben.

Aber was macht es schon, wenn wir unsere wichtigsten Dokumente verlieren. Oder was macht es schon, wenn wir unser Leben verlieren?

Es gibt noch etwas Schlimmeres. Wir koennen unser ewiges Leben verlieren, wenn wir uns jetzt keine Zeit nehmen – in diesem Leben – ueber die Ewigkeit nachzudenken.

Deshalb wollen wir uns heute Zeit fuer Gott nehmen. Wie wollen ihm sagen, dass wir so vieles in unserem Leben verkehrt gemacht haben. Wir wollen dem Herrn Jesus danken, dass er uns unsere Suenden vergibt.

Wenn wir das tun , sind wir nicht nur Sieger in diesem Leben, sondern wir haben auch das EWIGE Leben mit dem Herrn Jesus Christus, dem Herrn, der Himmel und Erde geschaffen hat.

“Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So … get on your way,” is an inspirational quote by Dr Seuss.

Today is called TODAY and

1.  we are told not to harden our hearts, if we hear the voice of the Holy Spirit.

2.  We are also told to “encourage one another daily,” so that none  of us may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

3.  We are also told who may go up the mountain of the Lord.

Who are they? They are those who have a pure heart!

As you can see it has all to do with our heart. Someone said: “The worst prison is a closed heart.”

Are you on the way to ascend the hill of the Lord? Today is the day to get on the way!

Reading that reminds me of the promises of the Lord Jesus Christ to us, especially the promise when he says that he is coming back.

Prophecies of Christ’s first coming.

The prophecies of Christ’s first coming came to pass literally.

Prophecies of Christ’s second coming.

Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ  have great confidence that the prophecies of the second coming will also be fulfilled literally.

The second coming was foretold by Daniel, by Jesus Himself, by Paul and by angels. (Daniel 7:13; Matthew 25:31; First Timothy 6:14; Acts 1:10,11)

The Second Coming of Christ occupies one in every 25 verses of the New Testament. The New Testament has 260 chapters and “the second coming of Christ is said to be mentioned 318 times in the New Testament.

The time of his second coming is a secret that only the Lord knows. We must be ready all the time. Are you ready?

On the box which contains the eight coffee bags it says also that customers can get in touch with the Consumer Satisfaction Centre if they “are not satisfied with the integrity of the coffee or packaging.”

I cannot get in  touch enough with the Lord Jesus Chirst to thank him for his promises and I am waiting for His Second Coming.
