BREAD

“Then JESUS declared,

“Roggenbrot

‘I am the bread of life.

He who comes to me will never go hungry, and

he who believes in me will never be thirsty.'”

“OPEN 7 DAYS”

I do not only know that The Warehouse is open on Sunday,  but I have also been in there on a Sunday to buy goods.

But it was only yesterday when I read again “open 7 days” on the front of the building here in Kaitaia that I connected it with the fourth commandment where it says:

“‘Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath to the Lord your God.'”

No work is to be done on the Sabbath by ourselves, our children, our servants and our animals. Nobody is to do any work.

“‘Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy,'” is the fourth commandment.

I am in the habit of going to church on a Sunday. But what about not buying stuff on Sunday wherever it may be?

My Book for August 2014 is …
