10.  seek his face always.

O descendents of  of Israel his servant,

“… convictions have been hidden …”

In The New Zealand Herald, Friday, June 27, 2014, I am finding the “number of people whose convictions have been hidden from potential employers under the act [Clean Slate Act] since November 2004.”

The number of the people is 115,079.

In the BIBLE we are reading that the Holy Spirit has come to convict the world of guilt.

All of us are guilty before God.

I like this SERMON OUTLINE straight from the Word of God (John 16:8-11).

“WHEN HE [THE HOLY SPIRIT] COMES

THE CROSS

THE CROSS

Intr.:

he will convict the world of guilt in regard to

1. SIN and

2.  RIGHTEOUSNESS and

3.  JUDGMENT

– in regard to SIN, because men do not believe in me;

– in regard to RIGHTEOUSNESS, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer, and

– in regard to JUDGMENT, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.”

End:

We can hide our convictions from people, from potential employers for example, but we cannot hide our guilt from God.

PLANS

 PLANS IN A MAN’S HEART

“Man with a plan,” is a recent article in our local paper, THE NORTHERN NEWS, called.

THE LORD’S PLANS

In the BIBLE I am reading about the plans the Lord has for me:

  • That are plans to prosper me.
  • That are plans not to harm me.
  • That are plans to give me hope.
  • That are plans to give me a future.

Our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ is our most important relationship!

In Proverbs 19:21 the BIBLE says,

“Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose* that prevails.”

“REPORT ILLEGAL FISHING”

As Christians we have an environmental responsibility.

But we have forgotten how important the creation is and forgotten to include the earth and the environment in our Christian message.

"REPORT ILLEGAL FISHING"

“REPORT ILLEGAL FISHING”

There are official state guidelines not only about fishing quotas but also about waste disposal. Guidelines are protecting the area’s fragile ecological balance.

A fishing community is exhausting their fish stock if the guidelines are not kept. Not only that, but the fishing community is also polluting their own waters.

If we do not take our environmental responsibility seriously, our survival is at risk.

Let us remember that there is not only the doctrine of incarnation and resurrection, but also the doctrine of creation.
