Seen Today:
Seen today in coffee shop:
“UNATTENDED CHILDREN WILL BE GIVEN ESPRESSO AND A FREE KITTEN.”
BILLS
“OVERDUE BILLS”
“WE CAN HELP”
That’s exactly what it says on the advertisement standing on the foot path and I am reading the ad again (I saw it for the first time this morning), while I am on my way to the Post Office to pay our power bill. The postie brought the bill this morning.
There is only one thing you can do with bills and that is pay them, and that as soon as possible. I have done that so far in my life and hope to continue to do so.
The BIBLE says in Romans chapter thirteen verse eight:
“Let no debt remaining outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.”
Mother Teresa said: “LOVE is a fruit in season at all times, and within reach of every hand.”
No, thank you, I don’t need any help with overdue bills!
Sermon Outline – OT – NIV
“Take heed,
Psalm 94:8-11
Intr.:
you senseless ones among the people;
you fools,
when will you become wise?
1. Does he who implanted the ear nor hear?
2. Does he who formed the eye not see?
3. Does he who disciplines nations not punish?
4. Does he who teaches man lack knowledge?
End:
The LORD knows the thoughts of man; he knows that they are futile.”

Books I read
“EVEN THE MAN WHO TELLS YOU THAT HE DOES NOT BELIEVE IN GOD, AND WHO BOASTS OF THE FACT THAT HE IS AN ATHEIST, EVEN HE HAS GOT A SENSE OF GOD.” – D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones
in his book “ROMANS,” an exposition of chapter one, the Gospel of God, which I have finished reading just now.
The book I am reading now is called: “ROMANS,” by D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones, an exposition of chapters 3:20 to 4:25, Atonement and Justification.
