“THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE”

We remembered the ANZAC soldiers in April.

In a column in our local paper called “The ultimate sacrifice” – The Northland Age, Thursday, April 28, 2016 – I am reading about the importance not to forget the service and sacrifices our forebears made on our behalf.

THE CROSS

THE CROSS

We are also encouraged to remember the soldiers who made “the ultimate sacrifice.”

Since reading the column in the newspaper I am thinking about “the ultimate sacrifice.”

That’s why I am glad to read again today about “the ultimate sacrifice.”

In the May 2016 newsletter of the local salvation Army it says that the Lord Jesus Christ made “the ultimate sacrifice” and that the Bible tells us how.

He came into this world to be our Saviour. He died on the cross to save us from sin. He conquered death and the grave and lives eternally.

We remembered the ANZAC soldiers last April again who sacrificed their lives for our freedom, but let us every day remember “the ultimate sacrifice” the Lord Jesus Christ made on our behalf to free us from our sins.
