The Far North Eco Centre is encouraging us to avoid single-use plastic in July. That is this month.

These are the aims of Plastic-Free July.

KAITAIA: Far North Eco Centre

Making us aware of:

1. The amount of single-use disposable plastic in circulation.
2. Its impact on users.
3. Its impact on the world.

We are told that every piece of plastic ever produced still remains somewhere on the planet today.

Last Saturday, on July 2, the Far North Eco Centre was at Kaitaia’s morning market offering reusable bags for sale and tips.
