“Dass die Welt – ohne Gottes Wort – von einer Unruhe in die andere kommt, ist sehr begreiflich. Wer aber dem Worte glaubt, darf in der Fuehrung und unter den Verheissungen des lebendigen Gottes im Frieden leben.” – Wilhelm Busch

Message in the Making

“So after you have suffered

First Peter 5:10,11

Intr.:

a little while,

  1.  he will restore,
  2. support, and
  3. strengthen you, and

End:

All power to him forever! Amen.”

"...and he will place you in a firm foundation."

“… and he will place you in a firm foundation.”

THE CROSS

THE CROSS

“Woe to those

Isaiah 31:1

Intr.:

who go down to Egypt for help,

  1.  who rely on horses,
  2.  who trust in the multitude of their chariots and
  3. in the great strength of their horsemen,

End:

but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the LORD.”

WINTER BLUES

Connecting with nature has many benefits. That is pointed out to me again today.

Here they are:

I am reading that connecting with nature decreases ANXIETY. It decreases also NEGATIVE THOUGHTS. Connecting with nature increases CALMNESS.

I am experiencing again and again myself that even a walk into town is good for the mind, the body and  the soul. The mind is cleared and I can think clearly again.

I am reading also that not being connected to technology, but being connected with nature instead, improves our solving of problems.

We are having winter now here in New Zealand (Aotearoa) and in a couple of minutes I am leaving the house for my walk into town.

And here is a quote by Albert Einstein:

“LOOK DEEP INTO NATURE, AND YOU WILL UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING BETTER.”

If being connected with nature does so much for us already, how much more does being connected with the creator of nature?

We read about that in the Bible.
