That is the motto of a school here in Kaitaia. I think that is a good motto. I saw it today.

Above my computer desk is a calendar and the Bible Verse for tomorrow is Mark 9:45.

AND IF YOUR FOOT CAUSES YOU TO SIN, CUT IT OFF. IT IS BETTER FOR YOU TO ENTER LIFE CRIPPLED THAN TO HAVE TWO FEET AND BE THROWN INTO HELL.

I found out what is happening at the NERO cafe and bar on Friday night when I picked up a ‘FLIER’ from the ground at a street corner. The flier was lying on the grass together with other torn paper, empty beer bottles and empty beer cans and a dilapidated card board box. On the flier was written,” 2 for 1 drink specials, Free bar nibbles, Win a Little black Dress.”

But the headline “TGIF” got my full attention. “TGIF–thank god it’s friday.” Is that meant to be a prayer? Please let me know!

DO YOU AGREE WITH ME THAT WE NEED MORE GOSPEL FLIERS?

I mean GOSPEL fliers. Do you think the Gospel — Romans 1:16,17 — is preached in the Churches today?

There is lots of LIFE in our years when we are walking with the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a life full of ‘Adventures.’ It led me from one end of the earth to the other!

Also at the Age Concern Office I found this ‘flyer’.– It is printed by the Office of the Health and Disability Commissioner. It is “The Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers’ Rights.”– It says,” Support is available-YOU ARE NOT ALONE.”

I am surely glad that I am not alone. Support is available for me. The Lord Almighty is my SUPPORT. Matthew 28:16-20.

That is true , “It’s Amazing who cares.” I found the pamphlet about St John at the local Age Concern Office. It says also “St John– the first to care.”

Yes, I find it also amazing that the God, who created the universe, cares for me. It surely is amazing who cares.
