LOVE (in Context)!

“If you enter this world knowing you are loved and you leave this world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can be dealt with.”- Michael Jackson

**********

A missionary was due to go on furlough after preaching the Gospel to a tribe on one of the islands in the South Pacific for a number of years. Before he went on furlough the people of the tribe asked him to send them Bibles, but they wanted only those Bibles with the verse “For God so loved the world”.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

GOLDEN NUGGET:

First Corinthians 3:16,17

“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is sacred, and you are that temple.”

A Brother in Christ told me this Story:

A brother in Christ told me this story:  (it was in Mangonui)

The man had it in his heart to commit suicide. But there was still a little glimmer of light left in his life when he entered a church and hoped for help. –  Nobody noticed him and bothered with him.

All the lights went out when he left the church. Later on he ran into a fisher of men (Matthew 4:19;  Mark 1:17), a real soulwinner, and did not only find the Lord, but became an evangelist himself.

but on God’s power.

Is your faith resting on men’s wisdom or God’s power?
