The Giveaway

I entered the Salvation Army Giveaway. All I needed to tell them was my favourite children song. I told them that my favourite children song is:  “Jesus loves me this I know….”

I must be the winner, because today I received the prize: A CD with 22 songs called “A Concert for Little Ears.”

The included note said: Congratulations! – The War Cry team.

“Caring for people. Transforming lives. Reforming Society.”

GERMANS IN NZ! (P.E.)

I told them about the Lord, those two German tourists. Matthew 10:32,33

But now I ask myself: Don’t Germans go to church any  more and don’t they explore the meaning of life any more either?

(Deutschland, das Land der Reformation und das Land der Dichter und Denker!)

But they listened to what I had to say and I encouraged them to think about it.

“It pays to plan ahead”

“New Zealand Post” has a service called “Please hold all mail…..” That is for people, who are going on holiday.  All you need to do is fill in a Hold service application. For those with the SuperGold card the service is even FREE!

I am reading just now on the application card : “It pays to plan ahead.” Those five words took my attention immediately. “IT  PAYS TO PLAN AHEAD”

It surely pays  to plan ahead. And please remember to plan ahead for the time after your death. The Bible, the Word of the Living God says:

“JUST AS MAN IS DESTINED TO DIE ONCE, AND AFTER THAT TO FACE JUDGMENT,…”

Hebrews 9:27

COMPLAINING? – REJOICING!!

P1060421

I read this today in “Coffee News” (14. 09. 2009) under the heading Quotable Quotes:

“You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses.” – Ziggy

Let us rather rejoice!

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: REJOICE!” Philippians 4:4

Philippians is a book in the Bible, the Word of the Living God.
