Romans 13:8 comes to my mind straight away. It says there:
“Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another,….”

That is written on a flyer from the Private Training Establishment Kiwidotcom.
‘Watch the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves’!!
