A Bank wants to help create my future this year. (2011) :

has written on the 2011 wall calendar: “I’m here to help create your future this year.”

The Bible, The Word of the Living God, says in Jeremiah 29:11

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to

prosper you and

not to harm you,

plans to give you hope and

a FUTURE.'”

it’s what we’re here for”

Let me ask you two questions.

Question number one:

Have you ever entered a pharmacy to ask a question? They want you to ask them. How do I know? I have here a little pharmacy booklet advertising “Everything you need to keep you and your family fit and well over the summer holidays.” In the booklet is written at least four times “ask us, it’s what we are here for”.

Question number two:

Have you ever read in the Bible what it says in Matthew 7:7-8?

The Lord Jesus Christ is teaching and he says:

Ask, Seek, Knock

1. “‘ASK and it will be given to you;

For everyone who asks  receives;

2. SEEK and you will find;

he who seeks finds;

3. KNOCK and the door will be opened to you.

and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.'”

“LIVING EVERY MOMENT”

I started to live (really) when I was almost nineteen years of age. And since then I have LIVED EVERY MOMENT!

On the 2nd of September 1958 I passed from death to life. First John 3:14 “We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers.” On that day I came to the Lord Jesus Christ. John 5:40 “yet you refuse to come to me to have life.” Read also Jeremiah 29:13! “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

In the evening of the 2nd of September  1958 the Lord Jesus Christ became the ruler of my life. Luke 19:14 “‘We don’t want this man to be our KING.'” That meant I was no longer sitting on my own little throne.

On the 2nd of September 58 I began to LIVE EVERY MOMENT! Remember, before that day I was dead, but now I was alive.

All  of a sudden the Bible became alive. The Bible was no longer like any other book I possessed. From that time on I began to grow spiritually and I am still growing.

One thing I knew from the very beginning when I became a true follower of the Lord Jesus Christ: I knew, that I had eternal life. Why? Because I read in the Bible in First John 5:13 “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may KNOW that you have eternal life.”

If you don’t know that you have eternal life, your spiritual life is very fickle!!

I am looking back on a wonderful journey with the Lord Jesus Christ and the journey is going on until I see the LORD JESUS CHRIST face to face

At the present time I am reading about “Proper Christmas Presents”, “The Ultimate Christmas Gift” ( Northland 2011 Calendar!) and “our gift card,the perfect Christmas gift!”

Today I picked up “Farmers last minute gift guide.”

I am also reading the Bible, The Word of the Living God. The Bible is my guide book. It fills me always with joy, when I read about the gifts mentioned in  my guide book, the Bible.
