WHY DO MOST PEOPLE DO NOT STEAL?
WHY DO MOST PEOPLE DO NOT STEAL?
NOT
BUT
I am learning that …
… most people do NOT steal because they fear GOD, …
They do not steal because stealing is wrong. The Bible, the word of God, says, “‘YOU SHALL NOT STEAL.'” End of story! That is also one of the ten commandments. The Bible says also that we must work, that we must do something usefull with our hands. When we work and do something usefull with our hands, we have something to share with those in need. Please read Ephesians 4:28.
… BUT that they do not steal because they fear MEN.
They are afraid that they get caught by the police. They are fearful not only to lose their reputation but they are also fearful that they lose their job.
Most people have the wrong kind of FEAR. The Bible says, “Fear God and keep his commandments, …” Ecclesiastes 12:13

One of the many questions I would ask him is why he listened to FAREL (preacher) when he told him that God would curse him if he did not do his work in Geneva.
Quote
“WATER & WORDS.”
“Water & words. Easy to pour, impossible to recover!” I am reading on the board, that is standing in front of one of our hairdressers.
And this morning in my reading of the Bible from cover to cover, I came to Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, where it says in chapter four, “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.” (Ephesians 4:29, NIV) In another translation it says, “Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.” (Ephesians 4:29, NLT)
I am asking myself now, “What kind of words are pouring out of my mouth?” Do you want to ask yourself the same question?
