“EVIL AS,” was the number plate on the car I saw yesterday.

How biblical! This is what the Lord Jesus Christ says in Matthew 7:11

“‘If you, then, though you are EVIL, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!'” (Luke 11:13)

I don’t know if you have heard that before.

Not only kids but we adults also need help to hold things together.

Our personal life is a challenge.

We are challenged to hold things together in our marriages.

And there are our families of course.

Question: What is the oldest human institution?

Answer: Marriage, the Family.

Who performed the first marriage and where was the first marriage performed?

God performed the first marriage and the first marriage was performed in the Garden of Eden.

But man sinned against God. The family has been in trouble from the time man sinned against God. The family is in serious trouble now.

The Bible tells us about the Lord Jesus Christ and in his letter to the Colossians the apostle Paul is writing:

“He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.” (Colossians 1:17)
