SEPARATION

When reading “separate” on a poster in front of a shop here in town today, where you buy newspapers and magazines, I remembered again the leaflet I picked up some time ago at our local hospital called “Family Dispute Resolution”.

It is proudly supplied by “Family Works” and inside the publication I am reading that it can be a stressful time for the whole family, when parents separate. With “Parenting through Separation” is also dealt in the pamphlet.

Have you ever wondered why the word “Separation” is in the news quite a bit?

The answer to that question is that we are separated from God. This is what we are told in Isaiah 59:2:

At the beach in AHIPARA

At the beach in AHIPARA

“But your iniquities have separated you from your God, your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.”

What is now the Way by which we may get rid of our sins? God’s law is holy and it says:

“The soul who sins is the one who will die.”

Please read that in Ezekiel 18:4.

Either we have to die for our sins, or we must find someone who will die for us. We must find a Mediator. The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and became that Mediator.

First Timothy 2:5 tells us:

“There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

Mum and Dad who believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for their sins, parents, who have a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, find it easier to stay together.

They have also this promise:

“He is before all things and in him all things hold together.” (Colossians 1:17)

The Lord Jesus Christ is also holding our marriages, our families together.

who hear me:

1.  Love you enemies,

5.  If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also.

6.  If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic.

Do to others as you would have them do to you.'”

BATRAFEN

SMILE a little!

SMILE a little!

I am glad that I don’t only have friends in Germany, but also relatives.

Today I intended to buy BATRAFEN, for the treatment of fungal nail infections. (I have bought it before.) What a disappointment it was to be told that the Nail Lacquer has been taken off the market in New Zealand.

BATRAFEN Nail Lacquer is made in Germany. Now I have to ask one of my many friends in Germany to send me some. And the sooner the better.
