“Leew dee” came to my mind today and is still on my mind. I think one reason why “leew dee” came to my mind is that I have heard it many, many times in Thailand, while working there as a missionary.

The meaning of “leew dee” is “(the choice) depends on, is up to, depends on whether.” I find that translation in the Thai-English Student’s Dictionary compiled by Mary R. Haas.
“Leew dee khun” means: It’s up to you!
What the Thais told us quite often was “Leew dee aacaan,” and then our name. Here is an example: It is up to teacher Jim. The meaning of “aacaan’ is teacher (who has a degree); professor.
The meaning of “Leew dee phracaaw” is: It is up to the Lord!
We want to hear more “Leew dee phracaaw” in the church today! It depends upon the Lord!
To win a copy of in Jesus’ Name, tell us how you experience God in your daily life.
I experience God in my daily life, when I am acting in accordance with His will.
First of all there is the Bible
Secondly there is the working of the Holy Spirit in my hert.
Thirdly there are the outward circumstances.
When those three things are in harmony, I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of God.

“Alle Schwierigkeiten im Gebet koennen zurueckverfolgt werden auf eine Ursache: zu beten, als waere Gott abwesend.” – Teresa von Avila
“… children are left without a foundation for right and wrong,” it says on the back cover of the book Kids Adrift by Paul Henderson. I would put the same a little bit different and say: Children are left without a foundation for human behaviour.
Thinking about all this what Theodore Roosevelt said comes to my mind. What did he says? He said, “When you educate a man in mind and not in morals you educate a menace to society.”
Educating a man in mind: That is important.
Educating a man in morals: But it is more important to educate a man in morals.
I looked up “morals” in The Collins Concise Dictionary and there it says, “concerned with or relating to human behaviour, esp. the distinction between good and bad or right and wrong behaviour.
Where do we find the foundation for human behaviour? We find it in the BIBLE.
If we are not going to acknowledge that the Bible is the guide book to human behaviour not only the kids will be adrift, but the whole nation will be adrift.
Or is it adrift already?
