ONE MORE QUESTION
I love questions that are easily to answer.
THE QUESTION:
“Have a problem on your hands and need someone in your corner?” asks a layer in her advertisement.
THE ANSWER:
Yes, I have someone in my corner on my side.
“Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you,” says the Bible in First Peter 5:7.

INDEPENDENCE
“Invest in your independence,” it says on the pamphlet I picked up at the Post Office.
Honestly, whenever I hear or read about independence, I get a bit annoyed. I don’t believe in independence.
But we are always learning, and not many days ago I learned that we really can be independent.
We can be independent of circumstances. Think about it!.
We can be independent of accident.
We can be independent of chance.
We can be independent of all things.
We are independent of all things, when we are dependent on the Lord Jesus Christ, when we are near God.
And yes, I will take heed of the call to invest in my independence by depending more on my Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ and getting closer to HIM.
Sermon Outline – OT – NIV
“There above it stood the LORD,
Genesis 28:13-16
Intr.:
and he said,
1. ‘I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac.
2. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying.
3. Your descendants will be like the dust in the earth, and
4. you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south.
5. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring.
6. I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and
7. I will bring you back to this land.
8. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.’
End:
When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, ‘Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was not aware of it.'”
