That was written on the big poster I noticed, when looking through the window of the office. There was also a bit more at the bottom, but the writing was too small to decipher.
An invitation to WORRY?
I remember somebody in the pools at Ngawha Springs (near Kaikohe) saying quite a bit again and again: “Why worry? Why worry?”
Yes, why worry?
Proverbs 12:25 “An anxious heart weighs a man down,…”
Philippians 4:6 “Do not be anxious about anything,…” That includes the weather.
First Peter 5:7 “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
Matthew 6:25-34 These are the words of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Yes, why worry?
The following is helping me tremendeously when I am thinking about the dirty dishes and other daily chores:
“The following poem was found on the wall of a shepherd’s cottage out of Sedden in the 1960’s…….
Thank God for dirty dishes
They have a tale to tell
While others may go hungry
We’ve eaten very well
With home and help and happiness
We shouldn’t want to fuss
For by the stack of evidence
God’s been very good to us.
