“ARE YOU DREAMING OF A WHITE CHRISTMAS?”

“Are you dreaming of a white Christmas?”

I am reading that question in the Lifestyle newspaper for the 50+ called “OLDER AND BOLDER”. And now please read carefully. I am reading that in the MAY-JUNE 2009 Auckland issue.

The question is asked by a Travel Group. No, I am not dreaming of socalled “European Winter Magic”. EUROPE is too cold for me in Winter!

The Travel Group offers Christmas and New Year Tours. On those tours you can experience the Christmas ‘magic’ and the Christmas (2009) of a lifetime. You can experience a lifetime Fairytale Christmas, a German Fairytale Christmas at a German Christmas Market.

At the bottom of the page we are encouraged to “Make this Christmas a holiday that you will remember forever!”

In the article we are also told about Christmas as it should be: ” Imagine all those picture perfect Christmas Cards with snow covered forest paths, merry crowds and pink cheeked, laughing children wrapped in bright red scarves and woolen hats.”

Deine Liebe, deine Wunden,

die uns ein ewges Heil erfunden,

dein teures Herz, das fuer uns fleht,

wollen wir den Seelen preisen

und auf dein KREUZ so lange weisen,

bis es durch ihre Herzen geht.
