In the BiblesinAction NEW ZAEALAND September communication I am reading in a letter written by Issu Oumarou (National Director BiblesinAction, Niger): “FEWER THAN 1,000 OF THE 20,000 VILLAGES IN NIGER HAVE A CHURCH.”

On the way from our home here in Kaitaia to a certain church in this town  I pass three other churches. And there are many more within walking distance from our place.

In the BIBLE, the Word of the Living God it says in Matthew 28:19,20:

“THEREFORE GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND TEACHING THEM TO OBEY EVERYTHING I HAVE COMMANDED YOU.”

Daylight Saving

Coming Sunday, September 25, daylight saving starts. One hour should clocks go FORWARD at 2am on Sunday, until April 1, 2012.

That says the article in the NORTHERN NEWS, September 21, 2011, that informs us about the literacy charity Duffy Books in Homes.

“IT’S COOL TO READ AND COOL TO ACHIEVE.” – Key message charity Duffy Books in Homes.

I know for sure that reading the BIBLE, the Word of the Living God, provides us with a pathway to success.

But reading the Bible is only the first step in the right direction. If we really want to be successful and prosperous we must do the following four things:

— we must be careful to obey all the law.

— we must not turn from it to the right or to the left.

—  we must not let the Bible depart from our mouth.

— we must meditate on it day and night.
