“LONG TERM THINKING.”
Today I received a booklet. On the front page is written: “WHAT DO YOU REALLY WANT?”
The booklet is from the Conservative Party and on page two I read: “Honesty, Safety, Prosperity, Family.”
There is also a picture of the leader and some of the Conservative Party team. On the left side of the image I can see the big poster:
“LONG TERM THINKING.”
I like “Long Term Thinking.”
Can I encourage you to think not only about this life, but also to think about what happens to you after you die?

“WHAT KINDS OF THINGS CAN PEOPLE CHANGE IN THEIR LIVES TO LIVE LONGER?”
It is all about the quantity of life and the quality of life.
That is a question in the article “The 90+ Study”. (The Neurological Foundation of New Zealand, “Headlines”, National Newsletter, Vol 93, Summer 2011)
One of the goals of “The 90+Study” is
“Determining Modifiable Risk Factors for Mortality and Dementia:
What kinds of things can people change in their lives to live longer? Can people change their risk of dementia through diet, exercise or supplements?”
This is one of the Major Findings:
“Over 40% of people aged 90 and older suffer from dementia while 80% are disabled.”
My question is:
WHAT KINDS OF THINGS CAN PEOPLE CHANGE IN THEIR LIVES TO INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE?
In Matthew 18:3 the Lord Jesus Christ says,”‘I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.'”
Changing means to turn about, to repent, to be converted, to turn from our sins.
We must become like little children. What does it mean to become like little children?
We must be trusting like little children. We must be lowly like little children. We must be loving like little children. We must be forgiving like little children.
Converted people have quantity and quality of life!
