“‘I looked for a man…'”
“…the Tomorrows of our Lives…”
Sermon Outline – OT – (NIV)
“For I resolved
to know
nothing while I was
with you except Jesus Christ
and him
crucified.”

“And when they ask you,
‘WHY ARE YOU GROANING?’
you shall say,
Ezekiel 21:7
Intr.:
‘Because of the news that is coming.
1. Every heart will melt and
2. every hand go limp;
3. every spirit will become faint and
4. every knee become as weak as water.’
End:
It is coming!
It will surely take place, declares the Sovereign LORD.”
Today at the Market in KAITAIA / NEW ZEALAND
“GO VEGETARIAN STOP CLIMATE CHANGE”
“Our last chance
to save earth
is melting away”
“The planet’s climate is changing at a deeply worrying rate and some fear disaster. But we are still in control of our fate – for now, writes Robin McKie”
I found that information today at the local library here in Kaitaia.
WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT HEAVEN AND EARTH?
A. Our present heaven and earth:
1. Heaven, heavens
— “…will pass away…”
— “…will vanish like smoke,….”
— “…will disappear with a roar;….”
2. Earth
— “…will pass away…”
— “…will wear out like a garment….”
— “…everything in it will be burned up.”
B. A new heaven and the new earth is promised:
— “…will endure……”
— “…there was no longer any sea.”
— “…home of righteousness.”
Crime Stoppers
CRIME STOPPERS
At least twice I find an encouragement to be a Crime Stopper in one of our local papers, the NORTHERN NEWS, on Page two and on page fifteen. (Northern News, October 19, 2011)
The public is encouraged to speak up. It’s anonymous.
The Bible, the Word of the Living God, is also encouraging us to be a crime stopper.
We are encouraged to speak up for the Lord Jesus Christ and it is not anonymous.
“He said to them, ‘GO INTO ALL THE WORLD AND PREACH THE GOOD NEWS TO ALL CREATION.'” – Mark 16:16
In Matthew 28:20 we read: “‘…….., and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.'”
Read also Exodus 20:1-17 in the Old Testament.
Sermon Outline OT (NIV)
“‘Suppose there is a righteous man
Ezekiel 18:5-9
Intr.:
who does what is
just and
right.
1. He does not eat at the mountain shrines
2. or look to the idols of the house of Israel.
3. He does not defile his neighbour’s wife
4. or lie with a woman during her period.
5. He does not oppress anyone,
6. but returns what he took in pledge for a loan.
7. He does not commit robbery
8. but gives his food to the hungry and
9. provides clothing for the naked.
10. He does not lend at usury
11. or take excessive interest.
12. He withhelds his hand from doing wrong, and
13. judges fairly between man and man.
14. He follows my decrees and
15. faithfully keeps my laws.
End:
That man is righteous;
he will surely live,
declares the Sovereign LORD.'”
