AN IRISH BLESSING

From newsletter, June 2009 , Age Concern Kaitaia:

May the road rise up to meet you

May the wind be always at your back

May the sun shine warm upon your face

And the rains fall soft upon your fields

And until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

For I resolved to know

nothing while I was

with you except

Jesus Christ and him crucified.”

SUCH KNOWLEDGE IS TOO WONDERFUL FOR ME

Psalm 139:1-6

Intr.: O Lord,

1. you have searched me and

2. you know me.

3. You know when I sit and

4. You know when I rise;

5. you perceive my thoughts from afar.

6. You discern my going out and

7. You discern my lying down;

8. you are familiar with all my ways.

9. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely,

O Lord.

10. You hem me in– behind and before;

11. you have laid your hand upon me.

End: SUCH KNOWLEDGE is

— too wonderful for me,

— too lofty for me to attain.
