In Judges 5:7

Deborah is called a Mother in Israel.

“Village life in Israel ceased, ceased until I, Deborah, arose, arose a Mother in  Israel.”

Where are the ‘MOTHERS’ (‘FATHERS’) in the churches? (body of Christ?

Do you get, what I am talking about?

Are we also Compromising?

At the end of Second Kings 17 we are reading  three times about worshiping the Lord.

— Second Kings 17:32 says: “They worshiped the Lord, but they also appointed all sorts of their own people to officiate for them as priests….”

— Second Kings 17:33 says: “They worshiped the Lord, but they also served their own gods in accordance…”

— Second Kings 17:41 says: “Even while these people were worshiping the Lord, they were serving their idols.”

And the whole chapter has this really sad ending: “To this day their children and grandchildren continue  to do as their fathers did.”
