How must we be saved?
The grim reaper is called “the conqueror of monarchs” and “destroyer of the human race” by Charles Haddon Spurgeon.
All of a sudden people we know and people we have talked to are no longer there, they are DEAD!
Yes, we are talking to people all the time. But what are we talking about as true followers of the Lord Jesus Christ?
ARE THERE PEOPLE WE HAVE NEVER TALKED TO ABOUT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST?
ARE THERE PEOPLE WE HAVE NEVER TALKED TO ABOUT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST SUFFICIENTLY?
What is the best way of presenting the gospel? I am a true follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and I have asked that question. Are you a true follower of the Lord? Have you ever asked that question?
So far I have found the best answer to the above question in one of the books by Charles Haddon Spurgeon.
His text is Mark 16:16 “WHOEVER BELIEVES AND IS BAPTIZED WILL BE SAVED.”
And he teaches me and us that “To believe is simply to trust, to depend, the rely upon JESUS CHRIST” and “To to be baptized is to submit to the sacrament which the Lord fulfilled at the Jordan,…”
Let us remember that when we are talking to people!
