Golden Nugget

“All Covered Up.”
“All covered up,” it says on the pamphlet, I saw hanging inside our local Post Office.
“All covered up.”
Reading about Adam and Eve in the BIBLE ( I read the BIBLE from cover to cover and start with Genesis 1:1 each new year.), reminded me of the pamphlet at the Post Office. It says there about the woman and her husband:
“Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.”
Inside the above mentioned pamphlet I read, “Cover for you and your stuff.” It is all about Life & Living Insurance and Home loan insurance.
COVER FOR ME AND MY STUFF
1. The Lord has covered the Heavens with his glory. Habakkuk 3:3
WORK
2. The Lord has covered the meadows with his flocks and “the valleys are mantled with grain.” Psalm 65:13
God’s provision or his GOODNESS.
3. The Lord has covered you with the shadow of his hand. Isaiah 51:16
The covered servant or his PROTECTION.
4. And most of all, the Lord has covered our nakedness. The Lord has covered us with costly garments. Ezekiel 16:8,10
The covered sinner or God’s GRACE. Psalm 32:1; Psalm 85:2; Romans 4:7.
The coverings Adam and Eve made for themselves did not work.
We must accept the coverings the Lord Jesus Christ has for us!
