Job 9:27 (NIV)

The flyer I picked up today at the local post office said: “NO NEED TO BE IN THE DARK ABOUT KIWISAVER”. It’s all about “The Kiwibank KiwiSaver Scheme”.

No, we don’t need to be in the dark. And I don’t want to be in  the dark, especially not when it comes to the important things in life.

READ THE BIBLE, THE WORD OF THE LIVING GOD!

In John 8:12 the Lord Jesus Christ says:

“WHEN JESUS SPOKE AGAIN TO THE PEOPLE, HE SAID, ‘I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. WHOEVER FOLLOWS ME WILL NEVER WALK IN DARKNESS,  BUT WILL HAVE THE LIGHT OF LIFE'”

Today I am reading in the paper that it was Samuel Morse who sent the first telegraph message, in  1844:

“WHAT HATH GOD WROUGHT?”

First of all

I must say that I don’t understand the message fully in that connection. (Maybe someone can help me?)

Secondly

I understand the message quite well. I even know the answer. And I like questions like that!

QUESTION:

What hath God wrought?

ANSWER:

The answer is in the BIBLE, the Word of the Living God.

Amen is a Hebrew word and means “so be it“.

I read this story in a letter from Germany:

The monkey of a zoo died. But the owner of the zoo knew exactly what to do. He got hold of a monkey suit and one of his workers played the monkey. The visitors of the  zoo were so enamoured with the monkey that the monkey got also very excited about his performance. The day came when he jumped really around all over the place and…………fell into the cage of the lion.

He feared for his life and when he yelled, “Help! Help!” he heard a quiet voice beside him. “If you don’t shut up straight away, we are both losing our jobs.”
