Do you pray before you eat your meal?

The family prayed together before they had their lunch………………in the restaurant.

I have never met them before , but when I talked to them I found out, that we were fellow pilgrims on our way to our heavenly home. Praise the Lord! We had a long talk about spiritual things.

FOOTSTEPS!

In First Peter 1:20,21 the apostle Peter is writing:

“But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example

THAT YOU SHOULD FOLLOW IN HIS STEPS.”

Intr.:

“Follow Me” is the command of the Lord Jesus Christ. In which places is Christ found? Think of the places. There are more, but I will only mention three here.

The Lord Jesus Christ bids us to follow Him:

A. To the FIELD of service.

Acts 10:38

“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the

–Holy Spirit and

–power, and

how he went around

–doing good and

–healing all who were under the power of the devil,

because God was with him.”

Acts 20:19

B. To the GARDEN of Gethsemane.

Luke 22:39-42

C. To the CROSS of Calvary.

Hebrews 13:12,13
